After a sold out event in 2019, the Kettle Valley Railway in Summerland has announced that the Grand Sommelier Express is returning in 2020 with more tickets available for sale.

According to the Kettle Valley Railway, this is a one-of-a-kind event in the Okanagan and in British Columbia.

Passengers get to enjoy a picturesque train ride with an on-board wine tasting, all while taking in the scenic views of the Summerland area.

The train stops at the train trestle so that you can snap a few photos and taste some local foods paired with local craft beverages.

The train then returns to the Kettle Valley Railway station for a gourmet reception catered by Brodo Kitchen. Guests will mingle with local winemakers and craft beverage creators while listening to live music.

Each attendee receives a souvenir wine glass to commemorate the day along with discounts to be used along Bottleneck Drive.

Tickets are $150 + tax, with an early bird price of $125 until December 31 at midnight. Click here for more information.
