The Lake Country Food Bank is hoping to have its security camera returned in a timely fashion.

According to the District of Lake Country, a thief made off with the outdoor camera from the location around 8 am on Monday morning.

Details provided by the Food Bank report that the thief drove a silver Ford crew cab truck and that footage of the theft was picked up a second camera.

Due to a specific serial number, the stolen camera won’t even work outside of the Lake Country location, likely rendering the equipment useless to anyone but the Food Bank.

Lake Country RCMP is asking anyone with information to contact authorities.
