Lights, camera, action! Will be a popular phrase in the Okanagan for the coming months.

There are currently three feature films shooting in the area and another three scheduled between January and February.

Wedding in the Vineyard began shooting in Penticton this week, along with production getting underway in downtown Kelowna for Endless.

The production crew for Endless features a team with several notable credits such as 13 Reasons Why, Dear White People and It.

Principal photography for Snow Princess has started up at Big White Ski Resort, which the film’s director says is an excellent fit.

“This is a perfect location for this film and the producers, cast and crew have nothing but great things to say about the management at Big White Resort and how accommodating they have been,” said director Allan Harmon.

“Okanagan hospitality is one of the great assets the Okanagan has to offer production companies as a location for their film and television productions.”
