RCMP have released footage of a suspect vehicle in the investigation surrounding disturbing leaflets in Vernon.

The leaflets are said to be linked to “a specific, extreme ideology" and were found scattered around the community by the multiple members of the public earlier this month.

On Thursday, surveillance footage released by police shows dozens of leaflets being thrown out the window of a fast-moving green pick up truck.

A residential camera recorded the vehicle around 1:30 am on Oct. 17 in the 3900-block of 21st Avenue.

"If you have a recording system and have video or images of these events, please let us know. We want to see it."
