Water advisory issued by Regional District of Central Okanagan

A water quality advisory has been issued for the Killiney Beach area. 

The Regional District of Central Okanagan said the warning affects 290 properties off Westside Road. 

Turbidity levels could have a negative effect on children, the elderly or those with a weakened immune system. 

RDCO advised those who wish to take precautions to boil their water for a minute before using it to cook, drink or brush teeth.
