Looking to cross “go on a cozy sleigh ride” off your holiday bucket list? We’ve got a few suggestions on where you can have a festive experience with your family and friends doing one of the most popular winter activities around.

Here are some places around the Okanagan where you can enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride!

O’Keefe Ranch

Take a trip back in time at the Historic O’Keefe Ranch. They have horse drawn sleigh rides happening on select dates until Dec. 30. There’s sleigh bells, hot cocoa, and carolling around the fire. What more could you ask for?

Silver Sage Stables

Just outside of Vernon, Silver Sage Stables is welcoming guests for some quaint horse drawn carriage rides. Rides are open to the public from Dec. 21-24 and Dec. 27-31 between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. with rides starting every half hour. Once again complete with hot cocoa, cookies, sleigh bells, and carolling around the fire, it’s a perfect Christmas activity for the whole family. Click here to book!

Big White

Big White is hosting sleigh rides in a true winter wonderland this season. Cozy up on a horse drawn sled with a blanket and some hot cocoa while you explore the snow covered forest trails. You can also book different private tours for a more festive, romantic experience!
