The Penticton Rotary Club has already been forced to cancel its popular Ribfest for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

But the Club’s lobster event is still a go - albeit with some alterations.

Lobster on the Run, presented by the Rotary Club and Bogner’s Restaurant, will take place Aug. 29 from 2-7 pm.

“It will be the COVID-conscious culinary event of the summer,” reads the press release.

You can order lobster flown in fresh from the east coast, or chicken or plant based meals, expertly prepared by the award winning Bogner’s team.

Each meal comes with salads and sides. You will also be able to order wine and beer to go with your meals which you can take home, to a beach or a park to enjoy.

Here’s how it works. View your menu online at www.eatlobster.ca, then purchase your choices and schedule a pick-up time at Bogner’s.

Rotary members will be in attendance to direct you through the line.

The Club will also have extra lobsters flown in if you decide that day to support this unique fundraiser.

Money earned through this event goes to the many community projects supported by Penticton Rotary.
