UPDATE: Missing South Okanagan man found deceased

(Update: Oct. 17, 2019): The body of 36-year-old Phillip Shuhmacher from Kaleden was found today, according to the RCMP. 

Police said that the cause of death is not considered suspicious at this time, but the BC Coroners Service is involved in the investigation. 

Shuhmacher has been missing since Oct. 3, 2019. He was last seen on Oct. 2 at his parent's residence on their security footage.

The Penticton RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing person that has not been seen since Oct. 2 2019.

 Phillip Shuhmacher was last seen on Thursday at 2:28 pm, at his parent's residence in Kaleden. He was observed on the video camera at the front door of the house, but has not been seen since.

Shuhmacher, 36-years-old, is described as:
