Going, going, gone… as we fall into winter. Here’s a few places I’ve explored this past month that I recommend adding to your outdoor list!

To experience the health benefits of outdoor recreation, it’s necessary to unplug and recharge in the wilderness. Those who are able to soak up everything nature has to offer find out why being outside is important—it comes down to health.

Find time today to venture outside and take advantage of the health benefits of the outdoors. Replace time spent inside on electronic devices with a hike on our many trails in the Okanagan or a walk to a local park. We set the example for our kids to GET OUTSIDE! There are so many health benefits of getting outside whatever your doing.
There’s no wrong way to get outside and so much to be gained by exploring the natural world.

Stand up Paddle (SUP) is a great way to stay in shape over the winter. The sounds of the snowflakes landing on the lake, it’s beyond the most peaceful place ever. It’s not just a summer sport !! Especially here in the Okanagan! We are so blessed!
