In a one in a million encounter, a woman was able to capture two wild animals playing together in her own backyard.

The magical event took place in Sheridan Lake last Saturday and the video was shared to a Facebook group in the area.

In the footage, you can see a fox and a deer approach each other in the backyard. They then begin to duck around a tree before the fox run away, looking back to see if the deer is following.

The deer walks over and the fox can be seen jumping up and down excitedly.

Eventually, the fox is spooked by a dog barking and runs back into the forest.
