Winter is coming.

Multiple cities across the BC Interior received their first snowfalls of the year this morning. West Kelowna, Kamloops, and more all saw a significant dusting.

Though the snow didn't stick, meteorologist Wesla English explained that it could if evaporation cooling takes effect.

"8 am Sunday. Currently snowing at around 650 m in West Kelowna," wrote English. "Not sticking yet but if it continues to fall heavily, I wouldn’t be surprised if evaporation cooling will cause it to cool enough to stick."
