It's almost that time of year again!

Ski season is right around the corner and resorts in the Thompson-Okanagan just got hit with some of their first significant snowfalls of the year.

This included Big White in Kelowna, Silver Star near Vernon and Sun Peaks just outside Kamloops.

The resorts have not yet listed their alpine snow bases or how much snow has hit the areas this fall.

Ski season doesn't begin until late November or early December. Big White is set to open on Nov. 25 while Silver Star gets things going on Dec. 3.
