Creston RCMP Look to Solve 10 Year old Disappearance

RCMP in the Creston area is appealing to the public to find answers in the disappearance of a resident who has been missing for more than 10 years.

On July 29th, 2004 Creston RCMP received a report of a missing person from a residence on the 1300 block of Channel Road. George Franklin Davis, who was 40 years old at the time, went to get cigarettes and never returned. He was driving a brown 1981 Chrysler Lebaron with the licence plate 191 BHR. Neither Davis nor his vehicle has been seen since.

According to police Davis suffered from a medical condition similar to epilepsy and required medication that he did not take with him that day. Without his prescription Davis could experience seizures and blackouts. Investigators continue to search for answers regarding his disappearance in a bid to give closure to his family.

Davis is described as Caucasian, 5”8’ and 189 pounds. He has brown hair and a tattoo of a cougar on his upper left arm. Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of George Franklin Davis is asked to call their local police or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
