IHIT Investigating Murder of Lower Mainland Teen

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) are investigating after a 17-year-old was killed in Surrey on Thursday.

Surrey RCMP reported to an assault at around 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the 16300 block of 88 Avenue. Police say that the victim, now confirmed to be 17-year-old Jaylen Sandhu, ran away from the scene and asked for help at a nearby home. Sandhu was quickly taken to hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries soon later.

The suspect had fled the scene, and so far there have been no arrests for this murder.
