Body Found in Vehicle Near Surrey City Centre

The Serious Crime Unit was called into investigate after a deceased person was found in a vehicle near the City Centre area of Surrey.

At approximately 9:50 a.m. Friday morning, Surrey RCMP received a phone call to assist emergency health services with an unresponsive person in the block of 139th Street. Once at the scene, a deceased person was found in a vehicle.

The cause of the death and the identity have not been confirmed. Officers are interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area for further information. Traffic in the area is being rerouted.

Surrey RCMP, along with the Crime Unit, are currently on scene investigating the incident.
