According to Health Canada the product was being injected at Art Nails Ltd., located at 751 Helmcken Street in Vancouver. The product did not have a label and the store owner claimed that it was Botox. The product had been injected to consumers and anyone who may have had the injection at the nail bar are being asked to contact their healthcare practitioner. Potential risks associated with injecting an unauthorized version of a health product such as Botox, can range from mild local paralysis to death.
