An Alberta MLA is coming under fire for a poster that encourages voters to take time out of their busy day and attend an old-fashioned pie auction.
The problem with the poster is it is basically calling from the 1950s as it asks people to attend BYWP; Bring Your Wife’s Pie. Tweeted out from MLA Rick Strankman’s Twitter account, it was immediately picked up by people all over the internet, who were disappointed with it.

Progressive Conservative Press Secretary to Jim Prentice, Emily Woods, took to Twitter to call out Strankman and the “sexist” poster. He has since apologized for the post and has removed the poster from Twitter, saying it was posted to his account by a volunteer.
