Rescuers Save Woman Who Fell off a Cliff in West Vancouver

Shortly after noon on Friday rescue crews were called to the Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver when reports of a woman falling over the cliff came in.

West Vancouver Fire Rescue (WVFR) immediately sent crews to the scene where a 22-year-old fell 10 metres off the cliff onto the ground below. According to WVFR, a hover boat was deployed to the scene as they worked to reach the woman.

She was transported to hospital with minor injuries, and was conscience and awake when crews arrived.
