A very small home in Vancouver is getting a lot of attention because it sold for a very large price tag.
Dubbed as the thin home, the 2,013 square foot property in the Point Grey neighbourhood recently sold for $1.35 million. The home, located at 3636 West 15th Avenue has just one bedroom, a den, and two bathrooms. Realtor Kristy Mattiazzo calls the home “one of a kind and masterfully designed” as it has creatively utilized space.

Vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, granite countertops built-in stainless steel appliances and laminate kitchen cabinets are just some of the features in the tiny home. The home was built in 1987 and with just a mere 945 square feet of living space, the home, which is just 12-feet wide, is causing jaws to drop because of the enormous price tag.
Currently the average cost for a detached bungalow in Vancouver is $1.17 million, putting this home fairly close to the average asking price. Thin homes have popped up around Vancouver recently as a way to help solve the housing crunch, but few have been sold.
