Whistler RCMP Looking for Missing Australian Man

RCMP in Whistler needs the public’s help in locating a missing 19-year-old Australian man.

Jake Kermond, who has been living in Whistler since early March, was last seen on April 26th, 2015 when he went skiing on Whistler Mountain. Later that evening he was spotted in the lobby of his hotel by the front desk staff. On April 30th he was reported missing by hotel staff when they discovered that his belongings had been abandoned in his room.

Kermond was last seen wearing a green baggy ski jacket, a black and white baseball cap, and possibly black pants. RCMP has been in contact with his family in Australia, and they confirm that they have not heard from him for several days. Whistler RCMP have conducted an extensive investigation into this disappearance; however, all efforts to date to locate Kermond have failed.
