Suspicious Death Being Investigated in Whistler

RCMP are investigating after a 19-year-old man died of life-threatening injuries in Whistler.

Just after midnight on Sunday, May 17th, Whistler RCMP responded to an incident near Main Street and found the 19-year-old man. This Lower Mainland resident was suffering from life-threatening injuries and was transported to the local clinic. Though medical professionals tried to save him, the young man was pronounced dead at the clinic.

RCMP say that they currently have several suspects in custody from the incident. Both B.C. Coroners Service and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team are responding.
