The second of four high-risk sex offenders who walked away from a Vancouver halfway home has since been arrested.

All four high-risk sex offenders walked away from Vancouver halfway homes within a two week period.

According to Vancouver police, 51-year-old Gary Vogrig was found drinking near Second Beach in Stanley Park shortly before 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. After being observed, the man was arrested without incident.

Last week, police captured 46-year-old Richard Galt in Abbotsford. However, investigators continue their search for 48-year-old Timothy Daniel Jones and 46-year-old Gerald Richard McLean. The search for the two wanted men is Canada-wide.

Vancouver police is asking anyone who might have seen the two men or knows about their whereabouts to call 911 immediately. Citizens are asked not to approach them.

Vorgrig walked away from a halfway home on Tuesday, May 19th. He is a two-time federal offender serving a four-year-six-month sentence for sexual assault and threatening. He was on statutory release at the time of his disappearance.
