Evacuation orders and alerts were lifted Thursday morning in areas of Cache Creek.

The imminent risk of danger to life and property from Saturday's flooding has diminished.

Evacuation orders have been lifted for the Riverside Mobile Home Park on 1055 Old Cariboo Road for units 1 to 5 and 9 to 15, as well as 1291, 1201, 1301 and 1395 Trans-Canada Highway East, and also for 1302 and 1305 Stanley Park Drive, and 1493 Stage Road.

Evacuation alerts have been lifted West of the Bonaparte River, North of Todd Road, and at 1495 Stage Road.

However, an evacuation order is still in effect for units 6, 7 and 8 on 1055 Old Cariboo Road and at 1505 Stage Road.

Support is available to evacuees through the Resiliency Centre operated by the Canadian Red Cross and the Emergency Support Services. The Resiliency Centre is located in the Cache Creek Community Hall at 1270 Stage Road.

An evacuation alert or order may need to be reissued if the risk of danger to life and property increases.
