Enderby Man Killed in Single Vehicle Accident

A 30-year-old Enderby man has been identified as the victim of a car accident near Spallumcheen on August 21st.

Matthew Jordon Maxime was the driver and sole occupant of a car that left Highway 97A near Eagle Rock Road around 4:20 a.m. on Friday.

He was rushed to hospital in Vernon but died shortly after arrival. Maxime’s vehicle was said to have been travelling northbound, jumped the median, and then crossed the two southbound lanes before the car ended up in the ditch.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this tragic accident.
