PM Harper Plans Campaign Trail Stops in Penticton and Kamloops

Prime Minister Stephen Harper is looking to increase his following in the B.C. Interior by visiting Penticton on Sunday and Kamloops on Monday.

Harper will be speaking to the public from Brutus Truck Bodies at 6:15 p.m. in Penticton on September 13th, and will appear at a similar event in Kamloops on September 14th.

According to Media Relations Advisor for the Conservative Party Meagan Murdoch, Prime Minister Harper will be outlining "our low-tax plan to keep the economy strong and our communities safe."

Harper will be joined in Penticton by South Okanagan-West Kootenay Conservative candidate Marshall Neufeld.

More details about the Kamloops event will be announced as they are shared by the Conservative Party.

Brutus Truck Bodies is located at 682 Okanagan Avenue East in Penticton.

Canada's federal election takes place on October 19th.
