Young Woman Who Died in Car Accident Near Revelstoke Identified

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a young woman who died following an accident on the TransCanada Highway near Revelstoke.

Twenty-four-year-old Nadia Sinead Doyle from Calgary was the front seat passenger of a car heading eastbound on Highway 1 when the vehicle veered off the roadway and rolled about 15 metres down an embankment.

The accident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on September 28th, about 47 kilometres east of Revelstoke.

Doyle was announced deceased at the scene.

The young woman was described as a vibrant, intellectual person, who was both incredibly strong willed and full of life. 

She had a deep passion for music and singing, and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. 

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services will continue to investigate this death.
