RCMP Arrest Two After Live Pipe Bombs Found in Prince George

RCMP in Prince George has arrested two people after live pipe bombs and bomb making material was found during a search.

Charges have been approved against 24-year-old Dustin Jeffrey Olson and 23-year-old Meranda Leigh Dingwall following an investigation last week. RCMP searched a home on Ahbau Street on Thursday November 19th and found a loaded assault rifle and the two pipe bombs.

The two Prince George residents are known to police and face several charges including possession of an explosive device and possession of a prohibited weapon. Olsen is expected to make his first court appearance on December 1st while Dingwall has already appeared in court.

RCMP has not released further information regarding the search or what led investigators to the two suspects.
