The Vancouver aquarium is about to get a very cute new guest: a baby sea otter, which was just rescued and nursed to recovery by an aquarium in Seattle, is joining its ranks.

Rialto, as the pup is known, was found starving on a Washington beach in August. The Seattle Aquarium rescued the emaciated, three-week-old pup, and has got him on his way to health.

According to Inside Vancouver, Rialto only weighed about 4.2 pounds when he was found. He’s been under round-the-clock care since, and is now swimming happily at nine and a half pounds.

The Seattle Aquarium doesn’t have enough space for the baby otter, so Rialto will be moving to Vancouver once he’s well enough to handle the travel, and all his permits are in order

And if these tweets showing off Rialto’s antics aren’t enough cuteness for you, you’re in luck: the Vancouver aquarium has a live sea otter cam on its website, and you can tune in any time.
