The controversial vigilante group Creep Catchers has struck again.

In early September, Surrey Creep Catchers recorded a video where they accused a member of the Surrey RCMP of trying to meet what he thought was a 14-year-old girl. The video has led to a charge of child luring against the RCMP officer.

Last night, a similar group called Fraser Valley Creep Catchers released a video that some parents are convinced is an elementary school principal in the Abbotsford area.

The group’s Facebook page claims it cannot confirm the identity of the man, but they can confirm an investigation is underway within the Mission school district and that all evidence had been submitted to the RCMP for further investigation.

A post on Windebank Elementary School’s Facebook page names a person that will not be at work today and that an investigation is ongoing.

Creep Catcher groups have been met with mixed reactions. Many people on social media praise the group’s work while others condemn them and other vigilante groups saying they cause more harm than good, with the potential to wrongly accuse and ruin people's lives.
