Multiple highways in British Columbia are closed due to weather related incidents, including all four heading in and out of Vancouver.

Highway 1 is closed in both directions thanks to freezing rain and a high avalanche hazard.

Highway 5 is closed southbound and northbound from Hope to Merritt because of a vehicle incident.

Highway 3 is closed in both directions between Hope and Manning Park Lodge because of an Avalanche Hazard. Motorists are urged to use an alternate route. It is also closed from the junction of Highway 93 and the B.C./Alberta border because of freezing rain.

Lastly, Highway 99 is closed in both directions from Horseshoe Bay to Squamish due to water pooling on the roadway.

Closer to Alberta, Highway 31 is closed in three different spots by Trout Lake, Meadow Creek and the Ainsworth Hotsprings.
