RCMP searching for missing North Okanagan man

Vernon RCMP are asking for help locating a missing North Okanagan man.

Lucas Wingate, 29, was last seen Sunday, April 23 driving his white 1981 Datsun pick-up truck super cab, B.C. license plate LP 3361, according to an RCMP media release.

Wingate is described as a Caucasian man, 5’11” tall and 175 lbs. with long brown hair. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans and a blue baseball cap.

A post being shared on Facebook suggests he was last seen driving the truck on Aberdeen Road in Coldstream and could be on backroads towards Lavington, Lumby or Armstrong.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact their local police detachment or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The post also states Wingate has been missing for almost 48 hours with no contact and “we believe he is in danger.”
