Alberta RCMP extend missing person search into B.C.

RCMP in Canmore, Alta. have extended a missing person search into B.C.

On Dec. 6th, 2017, RCMP received a call of concern for Bow Valley resident Vernon “Allan” Pickard.

Pickard hadn’t been heard from since November and was last living in the Big Horn Motel in Dead Man’s Flat.
 

He checked out of the hotel on Dec. 1st, 2017, and hasn’t been in contact with his friends since.

Police have received several tips regarding Pickard’s whereabouts prior to Dec. 1st and have gathered that he may be travelling to Victoria or Toronto.

Pickard is described as a bald 53-year-old Caucasian male who is 5’2” and 110 lbs, with blue eyes.
 

Anyone with information regarding Mr. Pichard's whereabouts is asked to contact Canmore RCMP at 403-678-5516.
