There’s been another 67 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in British Columbia and the province is reporting two more deaths, both in the Vancouver Coastal Health region.
That brings the total number of cases to 792, but 275 of those patients have recovered and no longer require isolation.
Of those 792 cases, the majority remain at home and are recovering in self-isolation, as only 73 are currently hospitalized.
There are definitely reasons to be positive in BC, as Dr. Bonnie Henry and Adrian Dix outlined earlier today.
The province’s upward path has been less severe than other places and Henry says that goes to show that we must be must continue to be united in this one goal over the coming weeks.
"The evidence is clear: with every person in British Columbia 100% committed to physical distancing, we can flatten the curve,” she said.

In-person gathering of any size remain strongly discouraged at this time and everyone is encouraged to continue to use online options to stay in touch with family, friends, customers and others.
“Every day that we stay home and stay apart will bolster our COVID-19 response,” added Henry.
“This is how we will protect our health-care workers, whose job it is to care for us, our loved ones and ourselves."
