The BC CO Service is warning long weekend campers of possible fines after several illegal dumpsites were found.
“Fraser Valley CO’s are out in full force this weekend. Unfortunately numerous illegal dump sites were discovered in the Mission area,” they said on Twitter, sharing a photo of one of the sites.
“Pack out what you pack in, and do not burn anything other than clean, untreated wood.”
They added that a minimum $575 fine awaits offenders in cases such as this.
