Jesse and Jessica Chandler may have won the lottery, but their kids are the real winners here.

The Chilliwack couple is planning a family trip to Disneyland after winning the top prize of $675,000 from a Set for Life scratch and win ticket.

Jessica purchased the life-changing scratcher when she stopped for gas at a local Circle K convenience store that houses an Esso station.

“I was at home at the kitchen table and couldn’t believe it was real,” she recalled. “I immediately texted and called my husband, then my mom!”

While Disneyland is definitely on the table, Jessica also hinted at another trip, this one just for mom and dad, in the future.

“We also never had a honeymoon when we got married, so maybe we will do that and renew our vows sometime down the road,” she explained.

It won’t be just trips either, as the couple plans to use some of their winnings to save for a new home.

As for how it feels to win such a significant windfall, Jessica summed it up nicely.

“Breathtaking,” she said. “A miracle.”
