The BC RCMP are really cracking down on distracted driving, but some people don’t seem to be catching on.
Last night, a driver in West Vancouver was issued two distracted driving tickets for cell phone use within 13 minutes of each other.

The driver was travelling along Marine Drive from Taylor Way onto the Lions Gate Bridge at the time.
“Fortunately, only the wallet was hurt,” police said.
Last weekend, the South Okanagan RCMP used a bus to spot distracted drivers, and handed out 54 cell phone violations.
On Tuesday, North Vancouver RCMP issued 74 tickets for distracted driving within two hours, despite giving drivers an advance notice of their presence.
