B.C. motorist issued ticket after attaching iPad and phone to steering wheel

It’s so weird that you can’t make it up.

One Vancouver man decided to get creative, and attached not just his cell phone, but his iPad, to his steering wheel with string.

Is it still distracted driving if you’re not touching the device? Apparently yes.

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) Traffic Unit shared the bizarre story after having pulled him over, saying “Can’t make it up.”

“Yes, that’s his ticket he’s holding,” the VPD said in a tweet that simply just exudes disbelief.
