Canada-wide search for man who failed to return to BC halfway house

A Canada-wide search is underway for a man who failed to return to his halfway house on Monday.

Police in Vancouver said Travis Ricky Ball, 29, has breached the Corrections and Conditional Release Act. 

He was serving time for break-and-enter, theft under $1,000, failure to comply with a probation order and the possession/use/trafficking of a stolen credit card.

Police offered the following description of Ball: 

He was last seen wearing a grey zip-up sweater, black sweatpants, dark running shoes, a black baseball cap. He was also carrying a black backpack.

Anyone who sees Ball, or has information about his whereabouts, is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
