EVACUATION ORDER
Pursuant to Section 5.4 of TNRD Local Authority Emergency Program Bylaw No. 2017, an Evacuation Order has been issued by Chair Ranta from the Thompson-Nicola Regional District at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) in Kamloops.
The rapidly moving wildfire currently located in Electoral Area “E” continues to threaten properties in the community of Loon Lake.
Because of the potential danger to life and health, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District has ordered everyone to evacuate the following properties immediately:
- From 15 Loon Lake Rd to 3250 Loon Lake Rd
- From 3094 Stevens Rd to 3087 Stevens Rd
- 98, 125, 145, 164, 200 Cornell Rd
- 4753, 4797, 5015, 5037, 5077, 5221, 5296, 5053, 5385, 5411, 5468, 5511, 5515, 5525, 5529, 5589, 5637, 5661, 5665, 6265, 6281, 6353, 6696, 6715, 6729, 6769, 6801, 6805, 6814, 6817, 6824, 6848, 6855, 6935, 6938, 7026, 7062 Hwy 97
- 6681, 6697 26 Mile Frontage Rd
- 280, 1284 Rensch Rd
- • 1090, 1134, 1190 Tomlin Rd
Total of (376 address points), as identified inside the areas on the attached map
If you are in the described area, you must leave immediately and report to the Emergency Social Services (ESS)
Reception Centre at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) Old Main Building, 900 McGill Road in Kamloops, BC. Residents of the evacuation area must proceed South along Hwy 97, where you will be escorted through the Village of Cache Creek, and then continue East to Kamloops on Hwy 1. It is also suggested that evacuees turn off the power and propane to their residences.
Electoral Area “E” (Bonaparte Plateau) Clinton South
EVACUATION ALERT
An evacuation alert has been issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District.
There is a wildfire approaching the community of Clinton and the wildfire poses an imminent threat to people and property. Due to the potential danger to life and health, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District has issued an Evacuation Alert for the areas identified on the attached map, including the following addresses:
- 780 Valley Rd
- 7737, 7845, 8030 Fenton Rd
- 1460, 1480, 1492 Mound Rd Total of (7 address points)
An evacuation alert has been issued to prepare you to evacuate your premises and property should it be found necessary. Residents will be given as much advance warning as possible prior to the evacuation; however you may receive limited notice due to changing conditions.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO WHEN AN ALERT IS IN EFFECT
- Locate all family members and be prepared to evacuate your residence and property to an identified safe reception center.
- Gather essential items such as medications, eyeglasses, valuable papers (insurance), photographs and immediate care needs for dependants.
- Prepare to move any disabled persons and children.
- Collect pets and pet needs.
- If possible, move livestock to a safe area.
IN THE EVENT AN EVACUATION IS REQUIRED, residents in the Clinton area identified on the attached map will need to exit the area.
A Reception Center has been established at the Thompson Rivers University (TRU) Old Main Building, 900 McGill Road in Kamloops, BC.
All residents that have been evacuated must register with Emergency Social Services at the designated reception center. Registration provides emergency personnel and family members with a list of evacuees and will provide evacuated residents with food, shelter and other personal necessities.

Village of Clinton
EVACUATION ALERT
An evacuation alert has been issued by the Village of Clinton.
There is a wildfire approaching the Village of Clinton and the wildfire poses an imminent threat to people and property. Due to the potential danger to life and health, the Village of Clinton has issued an Evacuation Alert for the entire Village of Clinton, with the exception of the Chasm Mill site, as identified on the attached map.
An evacuation alert has been issued to prepare you to evacuate your premises and property should it be found necessary. Residents will be given as much advance warning as possible prior to the evacuation; however you may receive limited notice due to changing conditions.
