(UPDATE: July 9 @ 6:35 am) - Health officials have expanded the COVID-19 exposure warning for a popular Vancouver strip club.

Originally, only people that visited the No5 Orange on Canada Day were advised to monitor for symptoms and potentially self-isolate.

Now, Vancouver Coastal Health says that anyone who visited the strip club on July 3, 4 or 7 should do the same after learning of a second person to test positive for COVID-19.

There's still no evidence to suggest that this exposure is linked to the ones at Brandi's Exotic Show Lounge or the Hotel Belmont.

(Original story: July 7 @ 6:15 pm) - Another Vancouver strip club is dealing with a potential COVID-19 exposure.

At the end of June, it was Brandi’s Exotic Show Lounge that had to shut down after three patrons of the strip club tested positive for the virus.

Now, Vancouver Coastal Health is warning of a possible COVID-19 exposure at the No5 Orange on Canada Day.

Health officials say an individual who visited the strip club on that date has tested positive for COVID-19, but there’s “no known risk to anyone who attended the No5 Orange outside that date.”

There’s also no evidence at this time that this latest exposure is linked to the ones at Brandi’s Exotic Show Lounge or the Hotel Belmont.

“As a precaution, we are advising people who attended the No5 Orange on July 1 to monitor themselves for 14 days,” said a release from VCH.

“As long as they remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate and they should continue with their usual daily activities.”

The release adds that anyone with no symptoms is not recommended to get tested because “it is not accurate or useful.”

Today, British Columbia announced 12 new cases of COVID-19 and extended the provincial state of emergency for an eighth time.
