Upon arrival, police found an injured 57-year-old man located inside a houseboat along the Fraser River.

The injured man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say that two suspects fled the scene before officers arrived and have not been located.

The RCMP believe this is a targeted shooting and said that there is no indication that the general public is at risk.

No description of the suspects is available and anyone who saw anything suspicious is asked to call the Mission RCMP.
