Kelowna RCMP are reminding motorists that they are on the hunt for dangerous drivers now that spring driving conditions have arrived.

On Friday, officers tweeted a photo of a recent ticket handed out to an uninsured and unlicensed motorcyclist who was clocked going 207 km/h along Highway 97C between West Kelowna and Merritt.

The motorcyclist was issued a hefty $1,357 fine and police have impounded the vehicle for seven days.

In November, the Minister of Transportation rolled back the speed limits along Highway 97C.

Merritt to Aspen Grove has been lowered to 100km/h and from Aspen Grove to Peachland to 110km/h.
