There’s someone about to be made quite a bit happier when they hear the news.

A ticket bought in Aldergrove, British Columbia won the $24-million jackpot after yesterday’s Lotto 6/49 draw.

The ticket was the only one in Canada to match all six numbers — 7, 17, 18, 22, 28 and 34.

BCLC said the exact store from which the ticket was bought in Aldergrove will be announced once the winner comes forward to claim the prize.

Winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize.

BC’s previous Lotto 6/49 jackpot winner was Tibor Tusnady, who won $16 million on April 15.
