The search for a missing Alberta teenager has been expanded to British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

Mataya Lynn Vyse, 18, was last seen in Spruce Grove, Alta. on Sept. 10 after she left her residence without telling anyone.

She has not been heard from since.

The initial belief was that she may have headed east to nearby Edmonton, but the RCMP now believes that Vyse could be in BC or Saskatchewan.

Police did not specify whether there’s a specific region in BC she could have travelled to, but NowMedia has reached out for further information in that regard.

The 18-year-old is described as a 5’6”, 178 lbs woman with brown hair, hazel eyes and a medium complexion.

Anyone who sees Vyse, or has information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact the Parkland RCMP at 825-220-2000.

You can also report tips anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
