The 85th edition of the PNE Prize Home has been unveiled and it's as luxurious as ever.

Arguably the most popular prize lottery in B.C., this year's 3,159 sq-ft prize home is valued at over $2-million and will be relocated to Kelowna.

The home is described as having a contemporary "farmhouse" style featuring three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms.

One extra neat feature in the home's Net Zero Ready classification, meaning that it is able to produce as much energy as it consumes.

The home features a gourmet kitchen, complete with pantry and separate prep kitchen, top-of-the-line trendy indoor furniture from Yaletown Interiors, and state-of-the-art KitchenAid and Whirlpool appliances from Coast Appliances.

“The PNE Prize Home is such a popular feature of the Fair and longstanding tradition, it is always exciting to see what the designers assemble each year,” says Shelley Frost, President and CEO Pacific National Exhibition.

“We are certain the public will be equally as pleased with this year’s grand prize package and want to ensure they not only tour the home during the Fair but have their tickets for the draw as well.”

Tickets went on sale on Wednesday for $25 for two, $50 for six, or $100 for 15, with the odds of winning the home being 1 in 798,000.

However, those who don't win the house have a chance to win cars, vacations, a motorcycle and cash, and proceeds go to supporting a variety of non-profit programs.
