While it’s still a bit early for Christmas decorations, it’s never too early to get excited about the most wonderful time of year.

That includes marking the calendar for Canyon Lights winter festival in North Vancouver.

The celebrated event is set in a glorious rainforest and includes a suspension bridge decorated with lights as well as eight of the world’s tallest Christmas trees.

“Once again the 30-ton Douglas firs of Treetops Adventure will receive star treatment. Treetops Adventure is a series of seven suspension bridges attached to eight 250 years old Douglas-firs with viewing platforms, reaching up to 110 feet above the forest floor. These magnificent Douglas firs will be lit above and below the collars, making these trees the eight tallest Christmas trees in the world!” states the Canyon Lights website.

Adding to the festive vibe will be a holiday band, sing-along carols and gingerbread house decorating.

The Canyon Lights festival runs from Nov. 22, 2018 to Jan. 27, 2019, so you have some time to gather your friends and family for a trip to this winter wonderland.

Park hours are between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. and they’ll be closed on Christmas Day.
