Anyone interested in camping in any national parks in BC should be aware of a new reservation system being introduced for the 2023 season.
Parks Canada is launching the new platform this spring and reservations will kick off in mid-March.

As of Mar. 3, people with existing accounts will need to create a new account on the platform.
New reservation launch dates have been implemented for most of BC’s national parks and people can start booking as early as Mar. 13.
The new platform also includes dates for the 2023 operation season for each national park.
Here’s a breakdown of reservation opening dates:

Fort Langley National Historic Site – Monday, Mar. 13 at 8 am

Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Site – Monday, Mar. 13 at 8 am

Glacier National Park – Monday, Mar. 13 at 8 am

Gulf Islands National Park Reserve – Monday, Mar. 13 at 8 am

Kootenay National Park – Wednesday, Mar. 29 at 7 am
-
Mount Revelstoke National Park – Monday, Mar. 13 at 8 am
-
Pacific Rim National Park Reserve – Monday, Mar. 13 at 8 am
-
West Coast Trail – Saturday, Mar. 25 at 8 am
-
-
Yoho National Park – Wednesday, Mar. 29 at 7 am

Lake O’Hara Overnight Camping – Tuesday, Mar. 28 at 7 am

Parks Canada says reservations open on Wednesday, Mar. 22 at 7 am for backcountry camping in Banff, Kootenay and Yoho national Parks.
If you are looking to head out of province, the new reservation platform is similar for national parks in other provinces or territories.
