Person causes $200K in damage after flying drone through storage tent

Police in southern BC are on the lookout for a suspect who caused massive damage to a storage area in Squamish last month. 

According to RCMP, between May 23 and 25, a suspect reportedly flew his drone through the roof of a storage tent in the 39000 block of Government Road. The drone left a large tear in the roof of the tent, which will cost around $200,000 to fix. 

After the incident, the unknown suspect broke into a fenced area and retrieved the drone. 

Officers are looking to arrest the man under charges related to mischief over $5,000.
