Police in Southern BC had to deal with a number of free spirits this week.

According to RCMP, on Sept. 11 at 10:10 pm, officers responded to downtown Trail after hearing reports of a 29-year-old man allegedly running through the city centre.

The man was thought to be under the influence of an illicit street drug during the incident. He was caught and held in police custody until he was sober.

A short time later, officers found a 35-year-old woman naked downtown. She was also suspected to be under the influence.

The woman was held in police custody until sober.

No charges were laid against either individual.
