Vancouver Police are asking women to come forward who may have had contact with a high-risk offender who is now facing additional charges.
Trevor Leonard Smith, age 45, was arrested on Friday for violating court-ordered conditions.

He has been convicted of a number of sexual offences in the past, and according to the Corrections Service of Canada, Smith poses a high risk for committing violence against women and sexual offences against children.
Smith moved to Vancouver in November 2017 after completing his sentence. At that time, the VPD issued a warning to advise the public of his court-imposed conditions. Investigators monitoring Smith believe that he has violated several of those conditions, and six counts of breaching a recognizance have been approved by Crown counsel. Smith is in custody.
Police suspect that Smith was using multiple aliases.
“The VPD’s High-Risk Offender Unit has been monitoring Smith since he was released. They have learned that Smith may also be identifying himself as Trevor Landry, and Trevor Kevin Williams,” says VPD Cst. Jason Doucette.
“Detectives would like to hear from any women who may have had contact with Smith since his release in 2017,” he added.
Smith is bound by several court-ordered conditions. Under those conditions, he may not have contact, whether it’s indirect or direct, with children aged 16 and under or be at any place where children or youth are present.
He must also report any relationships or friendships with women and cannot possess drugs or alcohol.
He cannot use or possess a computer system, including a hand held device allowing unsupervised internet access.
